Privacy Policy

Effective July 31, 2026 · Last updated August 4, 2026

Pure Cleaners respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information through our website, online ordering, customer accounts, store and pickup/delivery services, texts, calls and emails. It is separate from, and should be read with, our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the service, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, account and authentication information, billing and pickup/delivery addresses, unit and access details, appointment and order status, order history, garment and service details, special-care instructions, order-related photos, payment-provider transaction identifiers and payment status, and other information reasonably needed to complete an order or provide customer service.

Complete card numbers and security codes are normally collected and processed directly by Stripe or another designated payment provider. Pure Cleaners does not intentionally store complete card numbers or security codes in its ordinary business database.

Our website and service providers may collect limited technical information such as IP address, device/browser type, operating system, page activity and information needed for security, performance and troubleshooting.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts; accept, inspect, price and fulfil orders; arrange pickup and return; verify addresses and access instructions; process payments and refunds; send appointment, driver, price, payment, status and delivery messages; handle complaints and claims; administer rewards and promotions; prevent fraud; maintain website and information security; improve services; maintain business, accounting and insurance records; and meet legal, regulatory or court requirements.

We do not use personal information arbitrarily for unrelated purposes.

3. Consent and withdrawal

Where required by law, we obtain appropriate consent before collecting, using or disclosing personal information. Consent may be written, electronic, given through a clear checkbox, or obtained in another legally permitted manner.

You may withdraw consent where the law permits, although this may affect our ability to provide a service. For example, without a delivery address or access information we may be unable to complete pickup or return. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing already completed or information we may continue to retain or process by law.

4. Transactional and marketing communications

We may send calls, texts and emails reasonably required to manage an order, including booking confirmations, driver notices, quote approvals, secure payment links, failed-payment notices, order status, completion, delivery and customer-service communications. These essential messages may continue for an open order even if you unsubscribe from marketing.

Marketing and other non-essential commercial electronic messages are managed under applicable privacy and anti-spam laws. You may unsubscribe using the method provided in the communication, and we retain necessary consent and unsubscribe records.

5. Garment photos, access and delivery information

We may take and retain garment photos for order records, quality control, stain or damage documentation, quotes, customer communication and complaint or claim investigation. We do not use customer garment photos for unrelated public advertising or social media without appropriate consent.

Door codes, concierge details, building-entry instructions and safe-placement directions are used only to arrange, complete and document pickup and delivery. We take reasonable measures to limit access to employees and providers who need this information.

6. Service providers and cross-border processing

We may use providers for payments, maps, SMS, email, hosting, order management, cloud storage, backups, analytics, information technology, security, accounting and legal services. We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for those services and take reasonable steps to require appropriate handling.

Some providers may operate or store/process information outside Canada. Information may therefore be governed by local law and may be disclosed to local courts, governments or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.

7. Retention, security and privacy incidents

We retain information for periods reasonably required for orders, customer service, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute, legal and business purposes. When information no longer has a reasonable business or legal purpose, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized through appropriate procedures.

We use physical, technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the information, including access controls, passwords or verification codes, limited staff permissions, security systems, backups, third-party payment processing and training. No electronic system can be absolutely secure.

If a privacy incident occurs, we assess and limit harm, investigate as needed, keep legally required records, and notify affected individuals, regulators or others where required by law.

8. Access, correction and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access, or request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information. We may require reasonable identity verification, and legal exceptions may limit access to some information.

For privacy questions or complaints, contact hello@purecleaners.ca, call 647-600-9066, or write to 544 Eglinton Ave W, Toronto, Ontario M5N 1B4. We will reasonably investigate and respond. You may also complain to the privacy regulator with jurisdiction under applicable law.

9. Children and policy updates

Our services are primarily intended for adults. A customer submitting an order for a minor must have authority to provide the minor's information and consent to its processing.

We may update this policy for business, technical, legal or regulatory changes. The current version and date will be posted on our website. Where a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide notice or obtain new consent when required by law.
